It announces registration opening; additions to our event calendar; announcements for our Bear Perks Page such as retail\, rental\, food and event discounts; special announcements about events that have been added to our registration packages and much more. \nVisit our newsletter ad form for ad sizes and prices. To be included in the current months newsletter please submit ads by the 5th of the month. Newsletters are normally emailed to our subscribers by the 10th of the month. Our newsletter goes out to nearly 1\,000 subscribers each month and that number grows each week closer to our event. SUMMARY:Bears On The Beach
DESCRIPTION:This is a free event for all Bear Week Provincetown visitors. \nLooking to hit the beach but want to be around all the Bears you have seen in town? Parking (parking fee) is available at Herring Cove Beach and bike parking along Rt. 6A (see map in booklet). Look for the Bear Flag about ½ hour walk down beach to the left (south west) from parking lot\, or across the backwater from the bike fence on Province Lands Road. (Be sure to bring water and sunscreen). The Bears stake out a part of the beach every year nearly everyday during Bear Week\, but this is the one day you know there will be Bears on the beach! \nAdditional info: \nThe Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) provides a shuttle service that operates (shoulder season) hourly Monday through Thursday\, beginning at 7:15am to 8:15pm\, and 30-minute service from 7:15am to 12:15am; Friday and Saturday beginning at 7am to 12:45am. In the summer season\, 20 minute service seven days a week\, beginning at 7am to 12:45am\, from the Memorial Day weekend in May through the last weekend in September\, including holidays. \nThe Shuttle travels to and from MacMillan Pier\, down Bradford Street to the First Pilgrim Park and Herring Cove Beach\, to Shankpainter Road\, to Conwell Road\, to Race Point Road\, to the Province Land Visitors Center\, to the Race Point Beach and the Airport.
