John was the founder of Bear Week Provincetown and this was one of his favorite events to kick off the week\, at the Provincetown Inn pool and patio. The pool is open to all but only PtownBears Bear Tag holders will have access to the BBQ and tent. \nThe pool will be open with a cash bar\, live DJ and concession stand. \nOnly a limited number of sales at the door are available for the BBQ. \nLimited sales at the door: $30 \nStay tuned for a posting of this year’s menu for this event. \n

DESCRIPTION:This event is open to all Bear Week Provincetown visitors. There is no fee or Bear Tag needed for this event. \nEnjoy the scenery of the Province Lands National Seashore by bike! This tour will be lead by a volunteer who has lead this bike ride in past years. \nMeeting time is 9:00am and the ride will begin at 9:30am in front of Victors at 175 Bradford St. Ext\, at the intersection of West Vine St.. The ride is approximately 3 hours long with a rest break midway for lunch or a snack. \nIf you need to rent a bike\, we have a discount for PtownBears Bear Tag holders at Provincetown Bike Rentals – 136 Bradford Street – (774) 447-4539 – 10% off bike rentals – Website \nAlso\, Gale Force Bike Rentals and Deli is a short walk down at 144 Bradford St. Ext. if you are in need of a bike rental or a sandwich & drinks for your ride. – 10% off food\, drinks and merchandise – 508-487-4849 – Website \nRemember to pack water\, snacks and sunscreen. \nTipping of your tour guide is appreciated but not mandatory. \n
