Please be aware that this calendar of events is a “continuously updating schedule“. It will be updated as new events are confirmed and TBA prices are made available by the venues for events not free to Bear Tag holders, but may be discounted. All events are available to all visitors during Bear Week Provincetown, except for events listed as “Bear Tag Only Events“. All other events can be paid for at the door for the current cover charge. Please be aware that posted prices/cover charges supplied by venues that are not covered by Bear Tags are subject to change without notice and are at the discretion of the venue.
Bears On The Beach
This is a free event for all Bear Week Provincetown visitors.
Looking to hit the beach but want to be around all the Bears you have seen in town? Parking (parking fee) is available at Herring Cove Beach and bike parking along Rt. 6A (see map in booklet). Look for the Bear Flag about ½ hour walk down beach to the left (south west) from parking lot, or across the backwater from the bike fence on Province Lands Road. (Be sure to bring water and sunscreen). The Bears stake out a part of the beach every year nearly everyday during Bear Week, but this is the one day you know there will be Bears on the beach!
